Lead-Santé was founded in response to a visionary recommendation from the Canadian Medical Association, recognizing the urgent need to prepare future healthcare professionals to think critically and act beyond the clinical setting. As the first student-led think tank in Canada dedicated to strategic reflection in health, Lead-Santé represents a groundbreaking initiative where students come together to explore, innovate, and lead in shaping the future of healthcare. Its mission is to promote leadership and innovation in health by providing meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, and engagement.

Our Vision

Through real-world case studies and powerful testimonials, Lead-Santé introduces students to the structural, organizational, and political challenges that influence the health system. It encourages them to ask essential questions: Why do systemic failures persist, and how can we, as future professionals, contribute to lasting improvements? With a strong focus on macro-level issues such as care delivery pathways and continuous quality improvement, Lead-Santé fosters a new generation of healthcare leaders who are equipped not only with clinical expertise, but with the vision, insight, and determination to drive meaningful change.
